Key Account Manager (KAM) - Germany (South) 

 

The Role: The KAM will be responsible for developing profitable sales within the upper Midsize customer segment with a specific focus on a list of named midsize enterprise accounts. The objective of this role is to create and maintain a high quality working relationship with a broad range of contacts at these named accounts. The KAM is responsible to develop and execute on customer strategies to acquire new named midsize enterprise accounts in line with the Regional Account Manager Team strategy and to grow existing relationships in line with the overall strategy.

The Responsibilities

  • The KAM will identify, develop, process and close sales opportunities within the customer segment between ca. 7.500 – 20.000 employees
  • The KAM will develop customer orientated strategies to acquire new customers in line with the overall sales strategy
  • The KAM will proactively manage dedicated named midsize enterprise accounts
  • Additionally the KAM will maintain and strengthen relationships at all levels of sales, marketing, management and technical departments
  • Reporting to the Director Midsize Sales, the KAM will provide valid sales forecasts on a regular basis
  • The KAM will permanently maintain up to date knowledge and understand industry related and technical developments
  • Attendance at Road shows, Trade Fairs and Marketing events

You Are

  • Proven successful experience in end customer selling, esp. Midsize 7.500 - 20.000 employees
  • Proven track record of won projects (250k€ and above)
  • Proven experience in winning new customers within the mentioned segment
  • Experience in Software-selling, preferably in IT-Security
  • Excellent knowledge (Sales level) of typical enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Energetic and goal oriented
  • High level of self-organization and time management (Home Office option)
  • Deep understanding and willingness to collaborate with others
  • Fluent in English
