Channel Account Manager (CAM) - Switzerland

 

Your role: Reporting to the Country Manager Switzerland, the Channel Account Manager will be accountable for managing existing and developing new relationships with resellers and end users in the MID market. The objective of this role is to proactively engage with the senior management of partners and focus on growing new sales in the customer segment. The emphasis will be on the effective management and motivation of both the virtual sales teams in the channel and keeping a direct touch with the end user.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Work towards set monthly targets and maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of industry related and technical developments.
  • Accompanying channel partners when visiting customer accounts ensuring that accounts are developed to the full and that the complete range of company products and services are introduced to the customer.
  • Ensuring that corporate policy with regards to large global-corporate accounts are developed in line with company policy and that the corporate key accounts team are bought in an utilized where appropriate.
  • Ensuring that the channel partners are provided with accurate and timely updates regarding development in Trend Micro products and technical enhancements.
  • Maintaining and strengthen relationships within the channel partners at all levels including sales, marketing and technical departments.
  • Close liaison with marketing, finance and other departments within Trend Micro to maintain maximum growth against targets.

You Are

  • Fluent in both written and spoken Swiss-German.
  • Excellent in English skills.
  • Excellent at presentation, writing, and project management skills.
  • Excellent at communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Skilled in motivating individuals, addressing weaknesses and personal performance issues and supporting performance improvements.
  • Willing to travel internationally.

You Have

  • Minimum of 2 years proven successful experience within a channel sales environment.
  • Experience gained within IT industry essential and anti-virus software industry desirable.
  • Experience of working with and selling to enterprise/corporate customers.
  • Sound understanding of the sales environment with the ability to work towards and achieved targets.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding channel strategy.
  • Strong dedication to teamwork and to the growth and success of Trend Micro
  • Ability to seek to resolve conflicts within the other team members and between partners.
