Strategic Partner Manager / Channel Account Manager - Switzerland 

 

Your role: The Strategic Partner Manager will be accountable for managing existing and developing new relationships with resellers and end users in the Swiss market. The objective of this role is to proactively engage with the senior management of partners and focus on growing new sales in the customer segment. The emphasis will be on the effective management and motivation of both the virtual sales teams in the channel and keeping a direct touch with the end user.

The Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage our top strategic partners
  • Identify, develop and grow new strategic partners in Switzerland for our strategic products Deep Security and Deep Discovery
  • Develop partners based on business plans; execution on set business plans with partners;
  • Identify and drive strategic projects with strategic customers and prospects
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships at all levels incl. sales, marketing, management and technical departments of strategic partners
  • Working towards set yearly targets and MBOs (tbd)
  • Provision of monthly sales forecasts to the Country Manager Switzerland
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of industry related and technical developments

You Are

  • Proven successful experience in strategic selling
  • Proven experience in evaluating, developing and enabling strategic partners
  • Proven experience in complex software-selling projects, preferably in IT-Security
  • High skills in project management (sales and technical part in cooperation with all departments of Trend Micro)
  • Ability to win the status of a “trusted advisor” with decision makers on CxO level
  • Accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Energetic and forward going person
  • High level of self organization and time management
  • Sound understanding of the sales environment with the ability to work towards and achieve targets

You Have

  • Strong dedication to teamwork and to the growth and success of Trend Micro
  • Ability to seek to resolve conflicts within the other team members and between partners.
  • Ability to present, sell and close within a sales environment on CxO level
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels – both internally and externally
  • Fluent in German and English; French would be an advantage
