The Role: Centralised Sales has an exciting opportunity for an aspiring sales individual who is motivated by helping others succeed, who would like to be part of initiatives to transform SMB Sales into a world-class sales function.

The SMB Sales Specialist will work closely with the SMB Sales Management team to develop and to launch programmes which ensure our Inside Sales teams achieve the highest level of performance.  

Reporting to the Director – SMB & Centralised Sales Europe, the objective of this role is to onboard, train and coach sellers in areas that include revenue generating opportunities but also performance issues and overall sales effectiveness.



The Responsibilities


  • Onboard and train new hires to meet and exceed productivity and sales targets
  • Work closely with Centralised Sales Management to plan sales campaigns and become execution lead
  • Partner with the Centralised Sales Engineer team, Product & SMB Marketing to provide sellers with the knowledge and tools which lead to outstanding sales results
  • Monitor sales calls through real time observation and help improve shortcomings and build on the strengths of individual performers
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and guidance around pipeline creation, closure and best practise creating a centre of excellence
  • Assist in developing sales scripts, training and workflows
  • Design, lead and coordinate sales incentives and activities to maximize sales performance

You Are


  • Excellent at oral and written communications with a flair for story telling

You Have

  • Minimum of 3 years delivering sales results in a quota carrying role
  • Proven success in delivering sales coaching and training
  • Strong knowledge of software sales cycles and demand generation process
  • In-depth knowledge of Trend Micro’s solution portfolio
  • Understanding of operational and sales procedures
  • Clearly demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adapt content by persona
