Corporate Legal Counsel (m/f)

 

The Responsibilities

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Transactions and Corporate Governance, Europe Legal, based in London, UK, you will join our legal team providing legal and commercial advice at senior level out of our German head office.

Subject to an appropriate division of duties upon hiring you, responsibilities shall include handling legal work for the EU region with a major focus on the German Business Unit, in addition to providing legal and commercial advice to various Country Managers and their teams.

You will also manage company risk and oversee legal compliance, including data protection and privacy matters.

Requirements:

We are looking for a licensed attorney with experience in the range of about 5 to 10 years, preferably combining in-house and law firm practice, who is familiar with transacting business in Europe. You will be currently registered to practice law in Germany. With solid analytical and drafting skills, your proven knowledge of general corporate legal matters will include licensing, intellectual property, employment law, corporate governance and contract management.

 

Passionate, hard-working, self-motivated, principled and friendly, you will have fluent speaking and drafting skills in English and German. Any additional fluency in a European language would be welcome.
