Regional Account Manager (RAM) Public (m/f) - North Germany (remote)



The role: The RAM will be responsible for developing profitable sales within the public and education segment focusing on public institutions such as public schools, hospitals, utilities and churches (except government authorities).

The Responsibilities

  • The RAM Public will identify, develop, process and close sales opportunities 
  • The RAM Public will develop customer orientated strategies to acquire new customers in line with the overall sales strategy 
  • Additionally, the RAM Public will maintain and strengthen relationships at all levels of sales, marketing, management and technical departments 
  • Reporting to the Director Channel & Enterprise Sales, the RAM will provide valid sales forecasts on a regular basis
  • The RAM Public will permanently maintain up to date knowledge and understand industry-related and technical developments 
  • Attendance at road shows, trade Fairs and marketing events 

You Are

  • Proven successful experience in selling complex solutions to end-customers within the public, education and church segment
  • Proven experience in winning new customers 
  • Proven existing strong multi-year network of decision makers within the public, education and church branch
  • Hunter mentality, willing to win new customers and to maintain existing customers 
  • Experience in selling complex software solutions, preferably in IT-Security or IT infrastructure 
  • Excellent track record showing management of sales cycle and closing of big complex projects 

You Have

  • Experience in working in a channel focused environment 
  • Accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment 
  • Energetic and goal-oriented 
  • High level of self-organization and time management 
  • Deep understanding and willingness to collaborate with others 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels – both internally and externally 
  • Fluent in German and English
