Overview

The Role: Trend Micro is on an aggressive growth path. As a sales development expert, you have a critical role to play in fuelling this growth. Your focus is on inbound lead qualification, moving leads into and through the sales funnel, qualifying prospects, and setting up sales qualified appointments. You are passionate about cyber security and are keen to learn more to stay abreast of cyber criminals. You like using your technical knowledge to articulate solutions, be it via telephone, face-to-face or WebEx. You find it rewarding to generate high quality sales leads that build pipeline.

The Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound marketing inquiries and calls timely
  • Identify short term opportunities ready for direct sales engagement
  • Manage the lead queue in Salesforce, nurturing inquiries through the sales funnel
  • Participate in call out campaigns
  • Events support including generating event attendees, stand duty and follow up
  • Account profiling, social networking (via Linkedin and other platforms) and research as required to aid opportunity generation
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s
  • Setting appointments for sales to meet with potential customers
  • Working in alignment with sales support to provide the best possible business development for sales

  • Comfortable on the phone and Webex
  • Motivated to contact prospects via multiple methods in order to achieve targets
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Driven and ambitious with a strong desire to succeed
  • Metrics focused and driven by success
  • Independent, structured and have a results-oriented approach to working

You Have

  • Strong business acumen, professionalism, accountability and self-starter qualities
  • Excellent sales skills and a proven track record of achieving KPI’s
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Professional experience in inbound and/or outbound calling with end customers, ideally at a telemarketing/telesales agency or in customer services, helpdesk and support. Junior account manager experience in the IT industry is a plus
