    As a Sales Engineer, you will work in partnership with Sales, Channel and Product Managers be the technical bridge between the Trend Micro Solutions and the Business of the customers. You will take ownership of the technical relationship to drive satisfaction and dedicatedly manage and deliver technical information to these key customers both onsite and remotely.

    The Responsibilities

    • You can work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment under supervision to provide technical knowledge of our software products within our customer’s environments.
    • You take responsibility for crafting solutions and high level architecture while also providing consultative expertise around our solutions and products and can travel to attend sales presentations, marketing and user group events.
    • You enjoy sharing standard methodologies with other Sales Engineers to improve the quality and efficiency of the other members.
    • You can maintain and expand working knowledge of current and beta (non-released) Trend Micro products and you effectively interact with the engineering teams to provide solutions to technical issues.
    • You will provide product training to both sales and Trend Premium Resellers and provide software/network troubleshooting
    • You will work with our Product managers to improve our products with new features that address customer needs

    You Are

    • A strong multi-tasker with excellent problem solving resolution abilities
    • Able to effectively and efficiently instruct and guide our customers on-site, online, and through the telephone
    • Able to handle your own time effectively and are a self-starter with the ambition to continuously learn new tools and techniques
    • Confident presenting to large groups and audiences at events and customer site with the flexibility to adapt technical product presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
    • Trend Product TCSE (L2 certified) (Desired but not required)
    • Fluent in English, French and ideally Dutch

    You Have

    • Experience or exposure to working with NATO or the EU Commission.
    • Several years experience working in presales with a background in software or systems, ideally including an enterprise level knowledge of one of more of the following:
      • Security technology (Malware detection, Intrusion Detection, Content Security)
      • Server/Desktop Operating Systems
      • Networking Architecture
      • DevOps & Scripting
      • Cloud & Virtualization
    • Exposure to DevOps and Scripting with a solid grasp of the lifecycle of applications and cloud environments is highly desirable
    • Strong multi-tasking and problem resolution abilities with the capability to adapt to new technology quickly
    • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse set of clients
    • Certifications or related experience in MCSE, UNIX System Administrator/Solaris Administrator, Certified Lotus Professional, CCNA is desired
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and sales engineering experience
