    The role:  Reporting to the Head of Public Sector Sales the objective of this role is to deliver an excellent standard of Sales Support to the Public Sector Team in the UK  With this role you will be part of the Public Sector team and required to collaborate with all areas of the business working closely with the Field Sales teams, Marketing and Operations. This role requires candidates to be highly motivated with excellent Communication and organisational skills. 

    The Responsibilities

    • All general sales admin
    • Team Meeting / Forecast calls notes and minutes.
    • Account profiling (white space, subsidiaries, other regions)
    • Manage an efficient inbound query handling service from sales, distributors, resellers & end-user, first point of contact for all operational queries.
    • SME for salesforce support- account creation, multiple account clean up, assignment and opportunity management, ensuring sales pipeline records are updated accordingly
    • Contact building across accounts
    • Pipeline building specifically lower tiered named accounts
    • Follow up with new customers/ not deployed/ not installed (CLM)
    • Research on verticals eg regular updates on what’s happening in that industry
    • Reporting
    • Attending channel partner call out days to raise visibility
    • Partner mapping eg know nothing accounts, filtering sub 500
    • Metrics for DRs (lost reasons, competition etc)

    You Are

    • Motivated to drive and achieve all key objectives of the role.
    • Able to analyse the service provided using key performance indicators. This will involve the recording of daily inbound query volumes and types, and analyse with a view to taking corrective actions. The results of which should enhance existing services or create new valuable services to the business.
    • Able to streamline continuous improvements to existing processes and procedures.
    • Able to take ownership of and drive revenue opportunities
    • Able to evolve the role according to business needs, adding value to the existing role.

    You Have

    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Business or other relevant 3rd level qualification desirable
    • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar Sales/Customer support role
    • Good understanding and knowledge of the dynamics of a sales organisation
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Windows
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
    • Excellent administration, organisational, analytical and time management skills
    • An ability to multi-task and prioritise
    • Strong ability to troubleshoot problems, execute & deliver results.
    • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
    • Ability to proactively improve processes and drive efficiencies
