    MANAGER PRESALES Germany based in Munich

     

    The Role: The Presales Manager will work as part of the Technical Team Germany and reports to the Technical Director Germany. The Presales Manager will work very closely with the Enterprise – and Channel Sales team to drive the Trend Micro Security Solutions sales. He is responsible for the development of the Sales Engineers and supports the sales team with technical knowledge. He works closely with the Technical Director, Sales Managers and Marketing Director to improve the technical presales processes.

    The Responsibilities

    People Management

    • Responsible for the overall management, development and assessment of the Presales team.
    • Leads, coaches and motivates the Presales team, ensuring understanding of the company vision and values, profit and revenue targets, maximum teamwork and co-operation with all areas and departments of the company and the highest levels of service provision.
    • Responsible for assessing training needs and ensuring that the relevant level of training, development and coaching is available to all team members, that training needs are met, aiming to improve organisational effectiveness and that everyone is encouraged and supported in their professional development, giving employees the best opportunities to develop their abilities and careers.

    You Are

    Presales Support Delivery

    • Manages the Presales team including to ensure that customer expectations are correctly set and achieved at all times.
    • Promotes and maintains the highest level of processes, best practice and knowledge sharing within the team to ensure that the quality and consistency of delivery during presales phase is outstanding at all times.
    • Allocate the technical presales resources for the enterprise and channel sales team and leading them to assist the sales teams in winning new customers and maximizing revenue.
    • Work with the technical- and sales team to strategize on sales approaches to develop business.
    • Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences, when needed.
    • Develops best practices, techniques, and tools for bid planning, bid management, milestone and deliverable tracking, escalations, commercial management of bids and communication.
    • Establishes effective communication and expectation management techniques and to ensure that these are implemented to all bid stakeholders on every bid in a clear and concise fashion.
    • Ensures that effective processes are implemented to track and monitor all bid progress and risks.
    • Ensures that training of consultants is carried out so that each consultant has the capability to train or consult Trend Micro products.
    • Identifies opportunities for new solution offerings or additional business opportunities to grow the business.

    You Have

    • Several years of relevant experience as a presales manager working with Enterprise customers
    • Experience in leading presales technical teams to consecutive years of sales success through development and application of advanced solutions selling concepts and partnership creation
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in information security
    • Strong leadership skills and experience
    • Demonstrated ability to professionally guide and manage employees through mentoring, coaching, and skill development.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track tasks spanning across different projects and organizational teams.
    • Strong multi-tasking and problem resolution abilities 
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently instruct and guide customers
    • Ability to manage own time effectively is a requirement for success
    • Demonstrable relationship building skills (internal and external) and able to adapt style
    • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
    • Ability to present technical and business information to widely varied audiences.
    • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimal supervision to provide detailed technical knowledge of Trend Micro software products
