    Regional Account Manager North Germany (remote)

    The Role: The Regional Account Manager is responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities in accounts with greater than 1000+ employees within a dedicated sales area. The objective of this role is to achieve sales targets and maximize sales volume with assigned accounts, while exceeding customer expectations and creating a long term value for the client. RAM is playing a key role by developing strong relationships with customer contacts at executive level to gain insight into the business imperatives and IT drives enabling development of a strategy to sell Trend Micro solutions in this highly competitive security sale.

    The Responsibilities


    • The RAM will be responsible for developing profitable sales within the upper midsize enterprise segment (approx. 1.000 – 6.500 employees) within a predefined sales area
    • The RAM will identify, develop, process and close sales opportunities
    • The RAM will develop customer orientated strategies to acquire new customers in line with the overall sales strategy
    • Additionally the RAM will maintain and strengthen relationships at all levels of sales, marketing, management and technical departments
    • Reporting to the Director Channel & Midsize Sales, the RAM will provide valid sales forecasts on a regular basis
    • The RAM permanently will maintain up to date knowledge and understand industry related and technical developments
    • Attendance at Road shows, Trade Fairs and Marketing events

    You Are


    • Proven successful experience in selling complex solutions to end customers
    • Proven experience in winning new customers
    • Proven existing multi-year strong network of decision makers in upper mid enterprise segment
    • Experience in selling complex Software solutions, preferably in IT-Security or IT – Infrastructure
    • Experience in working in a Channel and Strategic Partner focussed environment
    • Accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment
    • Energetic and goal oriented
    • High level of self-organization and time management
    • Deep understanding and willingness to collaborate with others


    You Have

    • Hunter mentality, willing to win new customers and to maintain existing customers
    • Excellent track record showing management of sales cycle and closing of big complex projects
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels – both internally and externally
    • Security knowledge is welcome, but not a must
    • Fluent in English
