    The Role: is responsible for leading cloud based engagements focussed on Trend Micro solution integration with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. These are typically with large corporate and public organisations. You will work within a team and expect to have a deep understanding of the cloud platforms and strategy of a client and be able to engage with C-Level, Project Leads, Architects and DevOps. You must have the ability to solve complex issues and position the need for security within a shared responsibility umbrella. You should have breadth across technology stacks with deep hands on skills, such as scripting experience through deployment with DevOps technologies like Chef, Ansible and Puppet. You must also understand concepts such as the ‘Kill Chain’ and the evolving threat landscape. The ability to connect technology with measureable business value is critical to the role.

    The Responsibilities

    The role will be involved in technical engagements from the pre-sales to deployment phase, which includes:

    • Design solutions for customers that accelerates Trend Micro cloud solution adoption and revenues.
    • Be a Trend Micro cloud evangelist. Educate customers on the value proposition of Trend Micro with AWS and Azure.
    • Establish credibility and build relationships with senior commercial and technical individuals within customers to enable them to fully understand the power and value of Trend Micro solutions.
    • Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when deploying and using Trend Micro solutions.
    • Conduct deep-dive “hands-on” proof of concepts, education/training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Trend Micro cloud solutions.
    • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Trend Micro cloud technical community.
    • Present sessions at industry conferences.
    • Technical liaison between customers, Trend Micro service engineering and support teams.
    • Role requires approximately 25-40% UK travel.

    You Are

    • A strategic thinker and deep cyber security knowledge.
    • Able to script and work comfortably within AWS and Azure environments.

    You Have

    • 3+ years AWS and/or Microsoft Azure experience.
    • Experience with “on-premise to cloud” migrations and IT transformations.
    • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
    • 3+ years design and implementation experience with distributed applications.
    • 3+ years’ experience in networking; infrastructure or database architecture
    • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, such as Docker, Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes and integration with platforms such as SeviceNow.
    • Experience of programming in languages such as Python and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Linux Shell.
    • Experience of using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
    • Experience of using cloud native service constructs such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions for automated actions.
    • Be able to craft repeatable deployments templates based on CloudFormation, Terraform, JSON, PowerShell.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
