    The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities in accounts with greater than 500+ employees within a dedicated sales area. The objective of this role is to achieve sales targets and improve sales volume with assigned accounts, while exceeding customer expectations and crafting a long term value for the client. As a RAM, you will play a key role by developing positive relationships with customer contacts at executive level to gain insight into the business imperatives and IT drives enabling development of a strategy to sell Trend Micro solutions in this highly competitive security sale.

    The Responsibilities

    • As a RAM you will be responsible for developing profitable sales within our upper midsize enterprise segment (approx. 500 – 6,500 employees) within the southern German region
    • You will identify, develop, process and close sales opportunities and develop customer orientated strategies to acquire new customers in line with our overall sales strategy
    • Additionally you will maintain and strengthen relationships within all levels of sales, marketing, management and technical departments
    • You will report to the Director Enterprise Sales for Germany you will provide valid sales forecasts on a regular basis as well as maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of industry related and technical developments

    You Are

    • Accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment
    • High-energy and goal oriented individual
    • Based in Stuttgart, Nuremberg (preferred)
    • Fluent in English and German

    You Have

    • Hunter mentality and are willing to win new customers and to maintain our existing customer base
    • An excellent track record showing management of sales cycle and closing of large complex projects
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills at all levels and are confident interacting with our customers to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Proven successful experience in selling complicated solutions to our end customers
    • An existing social business network with many strong decision makers within the upper mid enterprise segment and confirmed experience in winning new clients
    • Experience in selling complex Software solutions, preferably in IT-Security or IT – Infrastructure
    • Experience in working in a Channel and Strategic Partner focused environment
    • High level of self-organization and time management with the ability to work independently from a home office
    • Deep understanding and willingness to collaborate with others
    • Security knowledge is welcome, but not a requirement
