    In this role you will focus on our business functions in Ireland reporting to the HR Manager for this region.  You will lead the design and delivery of people related initiatives to help promote Trend Micro as an employer of choice, meet business needs and sustain our culture of high performance.

    The Responsibilities

    As our Senior HR Advisor for Ireland, you will be responsible for developing and effectively project managing HR initiatives as required.  You will identify growth and training needs as well as solutions to deliver in partnership with our leaders and provide effective employee support as needed.  Other areas you will hold responsibility for include:

    • You will deputize for the Senior HR Manager as and when required.
    • You will support the implementation of HR strategy, policies and procedures across all lines of business
    • Align with European peers to review and maintain HR Policies across European
    • You will provide support to both management and new employees to ensure a successful on boarding experience
    • You can assess levels of engagement from employees and partner the business so timely and informed actions can be taken when needed.
    • You will support the organization through HR processes (e.g. performance reviews, compensation planning, recruiting).
    • You will provide effective Employee Relations support as required including conducting investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings and ensuring fair procedure along with compliance to legislation
    • Provide technical advice to managers in respect of Employment Law
    • Support the business in identifying employee skills/development gaps at manager and high performer level recommending training development actions
    • Management of HR vendor relationships to ensure high level of service is provided for both the business and employees
    • Co-ordination of Wellness and Diversity initiatives for the site
    • You will manage our internship program
    • You can provide ad-hoc HR administration as needed (together with our HR coordinators)

    You Are

    • An excellent communicator with fluent written and verbal English language skills
    • A self-starter mentality with ability to work with little direction.
    • Confident with high level of ambiguity
    • Highly sociable, whilst confident with discretion and with having potentially difficult conversations
    • Confident liaising with our internal businesses to deliver effective and professional solutions
    • Someone who thrives with new situations where the solution has to be found and no precedent exists

    You Have

    • You have 4-5+ years’ experience within Human Resources
    • 3rd level degree/qualification in a HR or related discipline.
    • CIPD Qualified preferable but not essential
    • An ability to manage several priorities whilst continuing to meet deadlines
    • A positive “can do” attitude and flexible approach
    • Proven interpersonal and influencing skills in every level
