    Major Account Manager (MAM) Government / Public (m/f) -  Germany (remote or Munich based)

     

     

    The role: The MAM Government will be responsible for developing profitable sales within the governmental and public segment (including all public institutions as well as federal and regional authorities / ministries).

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    The Responsibilities

    • The MAM Government will identify, develop, process and close sales opportunities 
    • The MAM Government will develop customer orientated strategies to acquire new customers in line with the overall sales strategy 
    • Additionally, the MAM Government will maintain and strengthen relationships at all levels of sales, marketing, management and technical departments 
    • Reporting to the Head of Government & Public Sector, the MAM Government will provide valid sales forecasts on a regular basis 
    • The MAM Government will permanently maintain up to date knowledge and understand industry-related and technical developments 
    • Attendance at road shows, trade Fairs and marketing events

    You Have

       

    • Proven successful experience in selling complex solutions to end customer within the governmental and pubic segment
    • Proven experience in winning new customers 
    • Proven existing strong multi-year network of decision makers within the governmental branch
    • Hunter mentality, willing to win new customers and to maintain existing customers 
    • Experience in selling complex Software solutions, preferably in IT-Security or IT – Infrastructure 
    • Excellent track record showing management of sales cycle and closing of big complex projects 
    • Experience in working in a Channel focused environment 
    • Accustomed to working in a multi-cultural environment 
    • Energetic and goal-oriented 
    • High level of self-organization and time management 
    • Deep understanding and willingness to collaborate with others 
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels – both internally and externally 
    • Fluent in German and English
