    Inside Regional Account Managers play an important role for Trend Micro in generating and closing new business opportunities in mid-size accounts. You are that unique proactive seller that strikes the perfect balance between winning new business and expanding existing customer relationships. Working closely with a team including security engineers, channel sales and marketing, you will be key in influencing prospects to select Trend Micro solutions in the highly competitive security market. Success in this role means having an active “find the business” mentality that easily builds strong relationships. In addition, you will need a baseline understanding of today’s technology landscape including virtualization and cloud computing, endpoint security and network security.

    The Responsibilities

    • You will primarily work with our customers with 500 employees or less and develop business within an assigned quota-bearing territory. You will work on an emphasis on revenue generation to new customers, and new sales to existing
    • You will work intensively to increase and improve product awareness within your assigned territory, through channel partners and direct interaction with prospects and customers
    • You can work together with our channel partners to jointly grow revenue, and to fulfil our customer requirements
    • You can build and refine a revenue pipeline, and accurately forecast revenue outlook to sales leadership utilising our CRM tools (Saleforce.com)
    • You are able to develop business plans with sales leadership to drive revenue, also achieving key sales objectives
    • You can collaborate with internal teams to identify operational or sales projects, and with our field sales and marketing teams to lead and develop new business

    You Are

    • Fluent in written & spoken English & German
    • An extraordinary teammate with the capability to work within our high-energy sales team environment and have a desire to work in collaboration within the team for broader success.
    • Experienced in sales, ideally with a channel environment in the software or technology industries
    • An ambitious and entrepreneurial, creative, self-driving individual and are highly motivated by overachieving your targets
    • Highly organized, with effective time management skills.

    You Have

    • An excellent understanding and knowledge of the dynamics of a sales organisation
    • A proven track record of demonstrating ability to comprehend new technology and to develop sales strategies for growing sales as well as the ability to execute and deliver outstanding results
    • Positive and energetic communication skills as well exceptional presentation skills
    • A college/university degree or have the equivalent work experience
