    The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for building new, and developing existing relationships with the distribution channel and reseller community. 


    The Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    • Proactively manage the channel partners and focus on new business. Develop the channel partners based on business plans; migrate channel partners to higher levels of accreditation
    • Working towards set monthly targets
    • Accompanying channel partners when visiting customer accounts ensuring that accounts are developed to the full and that the complete range of company products and services are introduced to the customer
    • Ensuring that corporate policy with regards to large global-corporate accounts are developed in line with company policy and that the corporate key accounts team are bought in an utilized where appropriate
    • Maintaining and strengthen relationships within the channel partners at all levels including sales, marketing and technical departments.
    • Maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of industry related and technical developments
    • Provide Partners with strategic guidance throughout the pre-sales phase
    • Ensuring that the channel partners are provided with accurate and timely updates regarding development in Trend Micro products and technical enhancements
    • Minimise channel conflict between distributors by working with the Distribution Account Manager to align resellers with distributors for specific end user opportunities
    • Close liaison with marketing, finance and other departments within Trend Micro to maintain maximum growth against targets

    You Are

    Several years experience in security software and/or sales with progressive responsibilities.



    You Have

    • Minimum of 3-5 years proven successful experience within a channel sales environment
    • Experience gained within IT industry essential and anti-virus software industry desirable
    • Experience of working with and selling to enterprise/corporate customers
    • Sound understanding of the sales environment with the ability to work towards and achieved targets
    • Sound knowledge and understanding channel strategy
    • Excellent presentation, writing, and project management skills
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
    • Willingness to travel internationally
    • Strong dedication to teamwork and to the growth and success of Trend Micro
