    Reporting to the Director – SMB & Centralised Sales Europe the objective of this role is to provide strong, capable leadership and clear direction to our sales team based in our European Operations Centre in Cork.

    This role requires candidates to be highly motivated along with excellent sales, communication and organisational skills. You will be part of our SMB management team and will be a central contributor to the sales and growth strategies of the Centralised Sales department.

    Within this role you will work with all areas of our business, including our Field & Channel sales teams, SMB Marketing & Operations teams.  You will collaborate closely with our reseller and distribution partners.  This is an excellent opportunity to work cross functionally right across the organisation and industry and make your mark!  Come and join us and develop your career with us!

    The Responsibilities

    Team Management and Coaching

    • Manage a team of highly motivated individuals to drive the SMB Business across Europe
    • Perform day to day people management activities such as 1:1s, feedback sessions, activity management, etc.
    • Ensure continued strength in the talent bench through effective recruitment & performance management.
    • In conjunction with the SMB Sales Enablement Function provide on-going coaching of direct reports on new initiatives and programs ensuring team is aligned to quarterly and annual business initiatives.
    • Deliver strong KPIs to measure overall team’s performance and contribution to the organisation
    • Identify new strategies & drive existing plans for the team to recruit new partners and to manage and grow existing business
    • Develop and implement best practice ensuring that the Channel team is building partner loyalty, high product retention rates and customer satisfaction. 
    • Working closely with various internal teams, including Sales Enablement, SMB Marketing, Field Channel teams, SMB Operations and back office functions reviewing opportunities to run new sales and operational projects.


    Sales Planning & Forecasting


    • Contribute to the overall design of the SMB sales strategy and go to market plans.
    • Assess what competition are doing and bring ideas to the table to respond to market forces.
    • Produce annual and quarterly plans (business & forecast) to support these strategies.
    • Conduct recurring sales and forecast meetings with the team, delivering accurate forecasts to management.
    • Perform quarterly business reviews on the performance of the team and the business.
    • Work with the field and sales operations teams in the sales planning cycles.

    You Have


    • Ideally 4 years + previous experience in managing high performing sales teams,
    • Proven record of working within a channel sales environment.
    • Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving targets.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English, preferably with another European language.
    • Business or other relevant 3rd level qualification is desirable. 
    • A can do attitude with an ability to work under pressure.
    • High energy and enthusiasm.
