  • Overview

    In this role we are seeking a strategic, out-of-the-box thinker who is adept not just at leading day-to-day partner activity, but also able to win partners’ ongoing commitment.

    You will be accountable for leading existing relationships and developing new connections with resellers.  It is a hybrid role, 80% dealing with existing strategic partners, 20% recruiting new strategic partners.

    The objective of this role is to actively engage and build strong lasting relationships across all layers of the business. You will engage with a number of different stakeholders, namely, the senior management of strategic partners, the sellers of both partners and our internal sales team. The emphasis will be on the development of the partners, finding new opportunities in the channel and highlighting Trend Micro’s strategic value. 

    Working in this market, you will have a role that is full of variety, giving you high exposure to key players in the industry and full responsibility for the growth of the Netherlands market.

    The Responsibilities

    • Build strong, positive relationships with a list of targeted partners. Review partnership results and opportunities to grow our business together.
    • Establish a strategic plan for key partners that includes business planning and account mapping.
    • Working together towards setting targets and maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of industry related and technical developments.
    • Ensuring that accounts are grown and that the complete range of company products and services are introduced to the partner.
    • Ensuring that the channel partners are provided with accurate and timely updates regarding development in Trend Micro products and technical improvements.
    • Maintaining and strengthen relationships within the channel partners at all levels including sales, marketing and technical departments.
    • Enabling efforts to continuously educate and empower partners’ client-facing teams to talk about Trend Micro and our products.
    • Provide creative ways for partners to improve their business.

    You Are

    • Fluent in English, Dutch. Fluent French is an advantage.
    • Analytical, a strategic-thinking with problem-solving skills and local market knowledge.
    • Comfortable operating at C-Level with clients, as well as taking a hands on role in executing against strategic plans.
    • Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating effectively both internally and externally.
    • Skilled in motivating individuals, completing QBR’s, managing performance issues and supporting performance improvements.

    You Have

    • Experience in or an uderstanding of the Security market
    • Expereince or an understanding of private & public cloud and the role security plays
    • Expereience working with Global System Integrators
    • Minimum of 5 years proven successful experience within a channel sales environment.
    • Gained experience within the IT industry essential, specifically in the software security software space.
    • Understanding of working with and selling to enterprise/corporate customers.
    • Sound understanding and awareness of the sales environment with the ability to work towards agreed targets.
    • Proven experience working in a complex indirect channel strategy space.
    • Strong dedication to teamwork and to the growth and success of Trend Micro
    • Sharp project management skills with ability to tenaciously follow-up and drive completion
