    Trend Micro is on an aggressive growth path. The sales development team play a critical role in fuelling this growth. The focus is on inbound lead qualification, proactive calling campaigns and working closely with Account Managers on outbound communication to target accounts in order to move leads into and through the sales funnel, qualifying prospects, setting up sales qualified appointments and developing pipeline. The role of the SDR Team Leader / Manager is to provide day-to-day team management, demonstrate best practice by working as an SDR yourself, act as a mentor/coach, liaise closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure excellent partnerships, monitor progress against goals, analyse and optimise results and provide regular reporting.  You are passionate about the sales development function, coaching and teaching best practices, results focused and analytical.  You like using your technical knowledge to articulate solutions, be it via telephone, face-to-face or WebEx. You find it rewarding to generate high quality sales leads that build pipeline.

    The Responsibilities

    • Management – Managing a team of three professional Sales Development Representatives:-
      • Setting quarterly MBO targets
      • Ensuring progression towards targets are met
      • Coaching and mentoring on cadence, communication, qualification, process and system best practice, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with Sales and Marketing Management
      • Maintaining dynamic team relations
      • Tracking and reporting on results from source through to closed business
    • Delivering - fast-paced prospecting, leading your team by example:-
      • Qualify inbound marketing inquiries and calls in a timely manner
      • Identify short term opportunities ready for direct sales engagement
      • Manage the lead queue in Salesforce, nurturing inquiries through the sales funnel
      • Develop and participate in call out campaigns, both in-house and with Channel partners
      • Event support including generating event attendees, stand duty and follow up
      • Account profiling, social networking (via Linkedin and other platforms) and research as required to aid opportunity generation
      • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s for yourself and the team
      • Setting appointments for sales to meet with potential customers
      • Working in alignment with sales support to provide the best possible business development for sales
    • Strategy - develop and inspire sales strategies, calling campaigns, joint channel activities etc. that will help the business grow

    You Are


    • A strong communicator and relationship builder, able to motivate and manage a team of young talent.
    • Have a proven record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
    • An expert on SDR cadence and accomplished on the phone, Webex and social media platforms.
    • Motivated to contact prospects via multiple methods in order to achieve targets.
    • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • Driven and ambitious with a strong desire to succeed.
    • Analytical, metrics focused and driven by success. 
    • Structured and have a results-oriented approach to working. 

    You Have


      • A minimum of 2-3 years B2B Sales Development experience in the Enterprise Cybersecurity space preferred but not essential
      • Experience of managing a team in a fast-paced sales development environment
      • Strong business acumen, professionalism, accountability and self-starter qualities
      • Excellent sales skills and a proven track record of achieving KPI’s
      • Experience of using Sales Development Technology preferred
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
